Lunar New Year Celebrations at NYPS

The pupils had an enjoyable time watching the Chinese New Year performance which featured the Nanyang Girls' High Lion Dance troupe and the NYPS own 'wushu athletes'. Then there was of course, the traditional presentation of mandarin oranges from the pupils to their teachers and the privilege of giving an 'aixin' hongbao to the Children's Society.

The pupils were spellbound by the wushu display with all its weaponry and synchronised moves.

We'll also get Xin Yi and Nigel to show us a few stunts in class one day :)
